Employers have a legal obligation to satisfy the needs of the Health & Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. If more than 50 people are employed within a business or the business is deemed to be medium to high risk, then the law requires that there is at least one qualified First Aider.
Who should attend?
Nominated workplace first aiders, or anyone wanting a comprehensive introduction to first aid.
The course will give you the knowledge and confidence to deal with a first aid emergency in the workplace.

There is a written and practical examination at the end of the training.
Certification
Completion of the course provides HSE approved Certification valid for 3 years After 3 years the full course can be renewed by attendance on a three day refresher course.
